Healing is the transference of naturally occurring energies that are all around us, by a healer/therapist, acting as a channel, to the patient to stimulate the patient’s own natural healing ability. Healers do not use their own energy. Healing has been practised for thousands of years and is freely available to everyone. It has also been shown to benefit animals.
During treatment it is common to feel a sense of tingling or heat coming from the healer’s hands. After a healing session, you can expect to feel relaxed and either physically or spiritually uplifted, or both, or, if it is your first healing session, neither. Occasionally, you may feel emotional or tired for a short time. These feelings will soon pass.
Healing is a complementary therapy and is not intended as a substitute for orthodox treatment. Therefore you should continue with any medication or treatment recommended by your doctor. It may also be useful to inform your Doctor you are receiving healing.
Healing is today used in many hospitals, pain clinics and hospices worldwide, including the NHS. There has also been considerable scientific research, which has demonstrated the benefits of healing.
If you have any further questions your healer will be pleased to discuss them with you on a one-to-one basis.
