Today, 1st Februarybelongs to Brigid, the Celtic goddess, a woman of wisdom, who later became known as a Christian saint.
This festival is known as Imbolc or Oimelc, which refers to the flow of milk that heralds the return of the life-giving forces of spring.
…Brigid means “The Exalted One,” queen and mother goddess of many European tribes. She is also known as Brigid, Bridget, Brighid, Brighde, Brig or Bride and some scholars consider her name originated with the Vedic Sanskrit word brihati, an epithet of the Divine. (wikipedia)
Already we are one month into the year 2012!
How have you been feeling? Do you feel any different?

Are you aware of the powerful, sometimes confusing energies around?

Recently………..
……….. Fortunate to be able to spend some time near the Atlantic Ocean, with the weather warm and the breeze gentle, I would often find myself sitting on the sand bank gazing out to sea!
Whilst sitting there I’d close my eyes, just taking in the sense and sound of the ocean, breathing in the fresh, cool air.
One day, after doing this for a while, I noticed that my breathing was matching the rhythm of the waves as they crashed to the shore and then retreated again.
Then experiencing a feeling of being totally at one with the sea -
I was the sea - was no-where in time and space – and yet at the same time - was everywhere and everything!
Yet I knew I was sitting there on the beach, but felt totally surrounded and held by oneness, held by love.
It was amazing and beautiful!
Dragging myself back to the reality of our 3D everyday world was hard!
Out there by the ocean, an experience of unity with the sea, the air, the sun, Mother Earth and the space all around me was a sample of what we are awakening towards –
- total unity consciousness!
But what about the people?
Well there were a few nearby, but I was unaware of them as being people in bodies – they just blended in!
Many humans experience similar, wonderful moments, wishing they could take them and bottle them for future use!
And many are getting closer, with comparable experiences,
But this is a journey we are all on,
heading towards an evolutionary shift in consciousness!
We often hear of communities forming and joining together with the same aim, to help humanity, to be in tune and at one with Mother Earth, the elements and all peoples -
So it has begun.
2012 is here, with many wonderful and exciting beginnings, moves, changes and happenings – all leading us ever forwards, towards wholeness and unity -
Bringing ever more Grace and Divine Love to aid the evolution of our planet!
Having written my story, I went to my mailbox and found this beautiful poem, sent in the middle of a letter!
How synchronistic is that!
“As gently as a blossom coming into flower
As softly as a whisper in the midnight hour.
Like a feather slowly rising in the currents of the air
We surrender to ascension without a worry or a care.
We find the moments we create are drifting into days
As slowly we become aware that we've moved into a haze.
This haze is what is in-between, where we are and where we're going
It's the space between the past and NOW, that's wavering and glowing.
We release that which is over, to find that which we cherish
And let go of the life that is complete, so it can slowly perish.
It is through the ashes of what is done

The Sun, the Stars, the Sky, the Sea

Because we're ONE with all the Earth

The "who" we are becoming, and the ONE we've always been

WE are the ONE we've always known
WE are the light that we've been shown
We step into our future to live within the NOW!
To be our SELF with every breath, for we remember how.
And as we do recall, the ONE we truly are
Together with dear Gaia, we shall become a STAR!
A Star so bright and filled with love
From deep inside and high above
That we light the path for all to see.
And the way in which we can be free
Free at last and free forever
With a bond of love no one can sever
Within our SELF inside our heart
We've found the place from which we start
We start anew, for we are through
Of being a separate "me" and "you"
We NOW can BE all that we SEE
And know that love is always FREE!”
